San Diego Restaurant Week has started, where you can taste a variety of dishes at a discounted price at over 180 restaurants! Café Gratitude is one of the restaurants that you can choose from and this 100% plant-based, organic restaurant is absolutely delicious and satisfies meat-lovers such as myself as well. Everything is zero meat and zero dairy. For $30, you choose one starter, entree, and dessert. Below is what you can choose from in the San Diego Restaurant Week menu. Everything was flavorful and fresh, my favorites being: “Eclectic” (Buffalo Cauliflower) and “Liberated” (Raw Pad Thai Kelp Noodle Salad).
“Connected”-fresh guacamole with tortilla chips.
“Bright”-spicy sauteed broccolini
“Elated”-mole abuelita enchiladas. The cashew cream with the beans was amazing in this dish.
“Bountiful”-blackened tempeh bolognese. I actually thought I was eating meat! Incredibly flavorful and the cashew mozzarella tasted like real cheese!
“Liberated”-raw pad thai kelp noodle salad. This was so refreshing and tasty.
“Humble”-Indian curry bowl. I love all of Gratitude’s bowls, especially with their homemade hot sauce.
2 Housemade Chocolates-coconut filled goodness. It reminded me of a healthier almond joy.
Everything was savory and tasty, plus you feel a lot better about yourself because everything is healthy and plant-based! Make sure to book your reservation here and to take a Lyft!
